About Us

Our Story

Located in north-east Nebraska, we're a small family-owned business that started as a hobby making cattle equipment for our own family farm. We don't just build it. We use it. We know what works, but we also know each operation is different and that's why we customize our equipment to fit you and your farm operation.

Our Employees

Mark - The man behind Tisthammer Fabrication. Mark started welding when he was 14 years old and has never stopped. It began with repairing broken parts in the farm shop and turned into designing and building his first tub and alleyway in 2013 for the family farm. After this his love for doing fabrication work came to life. After his first project, Mark started fabricating cattle equipment for neighbors, this was the start of the Tisthammer Fabrication business.

Kelli - The woman who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She may not be doing any of the actual welding or fabrication work, but Kelli knew when she married Mark, she would be involved in the business somehow. Kelli keeps all the bookwork in order and designs most of the signs that Tisthammer Fabrication makes and sells. On top of all this, Kelli is a stay at home mom with their two young children, John and Stella. She is a great multi-tasker and never afraid to take on new challenges.

Jessica - The newest employee to Tisthammer Fabrication, but not new to working with Mark. As his cousin, Jessica grew up helping Mark build and create all sorts of things. From using cardboard to make a “corn head” for his little pedal tractor to using k’nex to build about any implement imaginable for their toy tractors, their childhood was full of creativity. Jessica also doesn’t do any of the welding or fabrication, assisting Kelli with bookwork, learning how to design signs, and keeping the website up to date are her main jobs. She is only around part time, but always willing to help out when needed.
